The IFWEM course was developed to further educate occupational therapy practitioners, enhancing their ability to effectively mentor Level I and Level II fieldwork students. Grounded in theory, the course provides a structured approach to learning across various levels of knowledge and experience.
Course Overview
What to Expect
The IFWEM Course consists of six voiceover PowerPoint lessons, complemented by interactive questionnaires and assessments. While these assessments are optional, they are strongly recommended to deepen the learning experience. The course typically takes between 1.5 to 3 hours to complete, depending on the participant's engagement with the assessments, reflection, and the voiceover content. This flexible structure allows practitioners to tailor the learning experience to their needs, ultimately improving their capacity to support and guide fieldwork students.
